The purpose of Prayerworks is best summed up in the words of Paul found in Eph 4:12 “for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,” . It is therefore my aim to be a resource of encouragement, instruction and demonstration of the power of prayer to the body of Christ.
I am currently 53 years old and have been a Christian for 33 of those years. I live in a small sea side town called West Kirby situated on a small peninsula known as the Wirral in the North west of the UK. Here I also attend Riverway Christian Fellowship, where I was born again all those years ago and was married to my beautiful wife sandy.
The seed for this ministry was sown in my heart many years ago, when I was probably at the Lowest point in my life, when prayer was far from being a priority in my life, even to the point of being non-existent. So, why me? and why at such a low point in my life would the Lord sow such a seed and keep it alive all these years until the beginning of July 2016? The answer lays in 2 Cor 12:9 “….for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” It have slowly come to the realisation that rather than disqualifying me from moving in a prayer ministry my previous life experiences have given the Lord a perfect platform to demonstrate His strength and grace. I therefore have no problem declaring that this ministry is the Lords work from beginning to end.
What as to the future? I have some inkling that this ministry will eventually include a pray room and nation by nation prayer strategy but for now I will be focusing on offering inspiration, encouragement and teaching. As the Lord leads and opens door so I will endeavour to follow with His Help. The Lord Bless you.
